Warm congratulations on the successful convening of the "Seminar on Engineering Application of the New Generation Martensitic Heat-Resistant Steel G115".
On April 16, 2026, as the world’s first demonstration project of its kind—the Datang Yuncheng 630℃ National Power Demonstration Project featuring two 1,000 MW units—successfully completed thermal commissioning and was about to begin trial commercial operation, the "Seminar on Engineering Application of the New Generation Martensitic Heat-Resistant Steel G115" was held in Beijing. The seminar was organized by Baowu Special Metallurgy Co., Ltd., Central Iron and Steel Research Institute Co., Ltd., and Datang Shandong Power Generation Co., Ltd., and co-organized by Yangzhou Chengde Steel Pipe Co., Ltd. Zhang Zheng, General Manager of Yangzhou Chengde Steel Pipe Co., Ltd., attended the seminar as the representative of the largest supplier of G115 steel pipes for the Yuncheng power demonstration project. He led the company’s delegation to the seminar and delivered a special report on the manufacturing of G115, titled "Forging Premium Hot-Rolled Products, Empowering New Energy Sources." The seminar brought together over 150 representatives and guests from more than 70 organizations, including the National Energy Administration, the Special Equipment Safety Supervision Bureau of the State Administration for Market Regulation, China Energy Investment Group, China Huaneng Group, China Huadian Corporation, China Datang Corporation, State Power Investment Corporation, China National Coal Group, Beijing Energy Holding, China Special Equipment Inspection and Research Institute, Central Iron and Steel Research Institute, Datang Shandong Power Generation Co., Ltd., power design institutes, boiler manufacturers, research institutions, power equipment manufacturers, construction sites, and supporting welding material suppliers, as well as associations such as the China Iron and Steel Association, China Special Steel Association, Steel Pipe Subcommittee of the National Technical Committee on Steel of Standardization Administration of China, Professional Committee on Power Station Welding, and CSTM. Participants engaged in in-depth discussions and exchanges on key aspects including the research and development, manufacturing, demonstration projects, and design applications of G115 heat-resistant steel, contributing to the large-scale application and industrial promotion of this material. The world’s first Datang Yuncheng 630°C ultra-supercritical double-reheat national power demonstration project, with its core demonstration points centered on "reheat steam temperature at the turbine inlet reaching 630°C and unit power generation thermal efficiency exceeding 50%," adopts domestically developed martensitic heat-resistant steel G115, austenitic steel C5, a generator double-reheat system with power balance, and deep utilization of flue gas waste heat, along with other key technologies. This project has completely broken the long-standing passive situation of relying on imports for high-temperature and high-pressure component materials in China. It has not only facilitated the formation of a complete autonomous industrial system covering material R&D, equipment manufacturing, and engineering applications, but also achieved a dual breakthrough in both core technology self-sufficiency and iterative upgrading of equipment manufacturing. This has laid a solid engineering practice foundation for the subsequent development and application of higher-grade ultra-supercritical power generation technologies.

Chengde Steel Pipe Once Again Boosts China's High-Efficiency, Low-Carbon Development in Thermal Power
On August 15, 2023, Mr. Zhang Huaide, Chairman of Yangzhou Chengde Steel Pipe Co., Ltd., and Mr. Shi Wei, Deputy General Manager of Baowu Special Metallurgy Co., Ltd., signed a cooperation framework agreement for the development of G115 large-diameter pipes at the Honglou Conference Hall of Jiangsu Chengde Steel Pipe Group. After ten years of dedicated research and development, Chengde Steel Pipe has successfully trial-produced large-diameter thick-walled G115 martensitic heat-resistant steel pipes (used for 630°C high-efficiency ultra-supercritical units) using a globally unique process. The product has obtained a special equipment type test certificate. The trial-produced product covers a full range of specifications, featuring uniform microstructure, minimal differences in longitudinal and transverse mechanical properties, stable quality, high yield rate, and significant economic benefits. It has passed various tests, including physical and chemical performance, non-destructive testing, dimensional accuracy, and welding process evaluation, meeting the requirements of the T/CSTM 00017-2021 standard. It is suitable for key components such as main steam pipes, reheat steam pipes, and high-temperature headers in 600°C–630°C high-efficiency ultra-supercritical thermal power units. As the only engineering material selected for the boiler headers and main steam pipes of the world's first 630°C national power demonstration project, the manufacturing technology, process, and commercial terms for rolling large-diameter thick-walled pipes have been reviewed and agreed upon by Baowu Special Metallurgy.Exploration knows no bounds. Following the January 2015 achievement of Yangzhou Chengde Steel Pipe Co., Ltd. (for the innovative development and application of 600°C ultra-supercritical thermal power unit pipes, the world's most advanced commercial coal-fired power generation technology at the time) winning the first prize of the 2014 National Science and Technology Progress Award, Chengde is once again participating in the development of the world's highest-parameter, highest-efficiency, and lowest-energy-consumption thermal power unit (the Datang Yuncheng 630°C ultra-supercritical double-reheat national power demonstration project). As the first engineering application of the domestically developed high-temperature material G115, this project fills the technical gap in China's high-temperature material R&D field, elevating China to a world-leading position in this area for the first time. It breaks the long-standing reliance on imported high-temperature heat-resistant materials, marking a milestone in the high-quality development of China's equipment manufacturing industry and the localization of power equipment. By integrating multiple key technologies, the project has achieved world-leading performance in four major design indicators: temperature, pressure, efficiency, and coal consumption. Notably, the power generation thermal efficiency has surpassed 50% for the first time in the industry, further reducing pollutant emissions and truly realizing clean and efficient coal power development. The successful demonstration of this project will not only consolidate China's leading position in the coal power sector but also lay a solid foundation for the next breakthrough in reheat temperature beyond 700°C.The company will closely coordinate the extension of the upstream and downstream industrial chains, leveraging multiple R&D platforms in collaboration with research institutions and universities, as well as its proven track record in manufacturing large-diameter thick-walled 9Cr heat-resistant steel seamless pipes for thermal power. It will further deepen experimental research on the product, process, and usage to continuously improve and stabilize product quality, thereby making greater contributions to China's thermal power industry.

Yangzhou Chengde Steel Pipe Co., Ltd. Shareholding Change Announcement
On November 3, 2021, the original shareholders of Yangzhou Chengde Steel Pipe Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the company) agreed that the original foreign shareholder Chengde Steel Pipe Hong Kong Co., Ltd. (a subsidiary of PCC Group of Berkshire Hathaway Co., Ltd.) The company) transferred all 50% of the equity it held to Yangzhou Chengde Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. (actual controller: Zhang Huaide). After this equity transfer, the company`s new equity structure is: Zhang Huaide: 50%; Yangzhou Chengde Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. (actual controller: Zhang Huaide): 50%. The company`s new shareholders have formulated and passed a new company`s articles of association, the registration procedures for industrial and commercial changes have been completed, and the company`s type has been changed from a "Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macao and domestic joint venture" limited liability company to a "natural person investment or holding" limited liability company.

Afterwards, a discussion was held in the reception hall on the first floor of the company's red building. Chengde and Siemens signed the project of CCPP, and the total volume is 14.4GW at the 10 years of cooperation. Siemens accepted P92 pipe at the basis of P91 pipe with about 1 year discussion of Chengde and Germany head office. Total quantity is 1500 ton including 500 ton P92. This order indicated the big leap of P92 pipe and really significance face world of Chengde P92 pipe. CHENGDE got a world largest P91 Pipe order from India.
After successful supply of 10,000 tons carbon steel to a big petrochemical project in 2013, Yangzhou Chengde Steel Pipe Co., Ltd was again awarded a world largest High-Alloy pipe order from the same project at the beginning of 2014. This order material is supper high alloy material –ASME SA335 P91 with different sizes from outside diameter 219mm to 1067mm, and the total order quantity is 7500tons(1500ton for single size1067mm). Up to now, CHENGDE has got the full package piping supply for this project. Yangzhou Chengde Steel Pipe Co., Ltd is a Joint venture company with American PCC group, with 25years seamless steel pipe manufacturing experience. Because of Chairman Mr. Zhang`s focus on quality and everyday –improvement, Chengde has been approved by most of the well-known EPC companies, such as US-BECHTEL/ US-FLUOR/ ALSTOM/ DOOSAN/ MHI/ HITACHI and so on.
